Maki Maki Sushi
Adam Pan is a sushi chef with 20 years of experience. In 2002, he learned the culinary art of making sushi from working at several Japanese restaurants in New York. After 10 years of honing his skill as a sushi chef, Adam and his wife Shi (also an experienced sushi chef), decided to open their own Japanese restaurant. Owning a Japanese restaurant in New York, where competition is fierce, was an amazing experience. Eventually they sold their restaurant and moved to the west coast for a new opportunity of running several supermarket sushi franchises in Oregon.
Adam and Shi moved to Bend in 2021. They love the sun and the snow and think Bend is a nice environment to raise their twin boys. The idea to open a sushi food cart came from being impressed with the food cart scene in Bend and they wanted to be part of it. The menu for Maki Maki Sushi focuses on all their favorite sushi to make, as well as, crowd pleasers that customers always like to order. It’s fresh and it’s beautiful.
